Abstract:

Views of the Sierra Nevada wilderness from various locations, taken by Alsup during numerous trips. Also includes photographs printed by Alsup from the negatives of other photographers, including former Sierra Club president Lewis Clark, Pete Starr, Glen Dawson, Ted Bartholomew, Norman Clyde. Also includes a portrait of Imogen Cunningham by Sydney Goldstein, printed by Aslup. Also includes a page proof copy of Such a landscape! by William Henry Brewer, with introduction and notes by Alsup, published in 1987 by Yosemite Association and Sequoia Natural History Association.
